HTML with Macros

Usage Instructions:

  • This widget can be used for things like Video Embeds, Podcast/Audioclip embeds, or any other code snippet that needs to be added to a particular page. (Those canno be added via the Rich Text widget.) 

If using this widget for a Video, follow these instructions:

  • Add the "HTML With Macros" widget onto your page
  • Click the gear icon and paste the YouTube embed code into the "HTML Before" field:

  • If the embed code contains "width" and "height" attributes:
    • Remove the height
    • If width is a set pixel size, change it to "100%"
  • Add this to the embed code: "class="aspect-video"
    • This will ensure that the video is correctly sized on all devices
