Usage Instructions

Note: User has to "Allow" for cookies for this widget to work.

• Add the Geolocation banner to your page
• Click the gear icon to add a Title
• Add text directly in the widget
• Add the "Redirect" widget to the page right under the Geolocation banner
• Click the Personalization icon (people icon)
• Click "Add Variant" 
  • Enter a title (state name)
  • Select the state from the dropdown 
  • Click "Apply"
• Repeat for other states that will redirect to a state-specific page
  • You do not need to set up all 50 states
• Click the Personalization icon and choose "No state selected"
  • Add title "No state"
  • Select "No state selected" from the dropdown
  • Click "Apply"
• Click the Personalization icon and choose "Original" (default)
  • Click the gear icon
  • Ensure "Disabled" is NOT checked
  • Select the page you want ALL OTHER states to redirect to (CA)
  • Click "Apply"
• Click the Personalization icon and choose a specific state (e.g. Idaho)
  • Click the gear icon
  • Ensure "Disabled" is NOT checked
  • Select the page you want Idaho to redirect to
  • Click "Apply"
  • Repeat for TX, any other state that has its own page
• Click the Personalization icon and choose "No state"
  • Click the gear icon, and ensure that "Disabled" IS checked, and no page is selected for the redirect
  • Click "Apply"
• Click the Personalization icon, and ensure that "No state" is LAST in the list (it must be last for the widget to work)
• Copy the Geolocation banner and Redirect widget
• Paste those onto the "sister" pages (e.g. Idaho, Texas versions of page)

Following the above steps will ensure that:

• When a User comes to the "default" page (with only a Hero, Geolocation banner, and redirect personalization widget) and they are not cookied, they will see the default state and need to allow their location to see the actual page content
• If user is cookied and in one of the specific states that has a redirect, they will be redirected to those specific state versions of the page
• If user is cookied an in a different state, they will be redirected to the CA version of the page
